Over 250 people attended the second anniversary of Asian Wealth Magazine (AWM), held at the Porsche Centre, in London’s Mayfair earlier this month. The prestigious business publication played host to a number of high profile names from the British Asian community, including founder of Currencies Direct, Mayank Patel, film director Gurinder Chadda, EastEnders’ actress Nina Wadia, entrepreneur and founder of eBookers Dinesh Dhamija and cricketer Monty Panesar
Journalist and TV presenter Also Brand Ambassador Tasmin Lucia-Khan compered the event dressed in Khubsoorat Collection, with jewellery from Chopard.
Saran Kohli choreographed and showcased his latest menswear collection. The catwalk was inspired by “The great Gatsby” bringing Gatsby and Daisy come alive with saxo beats showcasing Khubsoorat Collection Summer 2014 Collection. Also on the night, in conjunction with AWM partner Porsche Design. Chopard displayed an array of spectacular timepieces and jewellery. Award-winning solo violinist and songwriter Diana Yukawa also entertained the crowd, while Chivas Regal kept the drinks flowing with their range of Chivas Signature Cocktails. Delicious food was on hand courtesy of Madhus.
The event was punctuated by a presentation from Porsche, where they showcased their fleet of cars – Porsche 911, Cayenne, Boxster, Panamera, Targa, the new Macan, and a very limited edition 911 Martini (only 80 in the world made)
