1983 Designer Mani Kohli gave birth to Khubsoorat Collection and opened doors to her first boutique in 1985, which today has secured itself to be one of the most sought after brands in the UK. It also established immense presence in the US for a generation that is seeking a contemporary alternative to the traditional Ethnic look. 

Khubsoorat Collection brand philosophy was drawn with the vision of rich Indian heritage and cultural influence combining the intricate Indian craftsmanship with awareness of contemporary design.  These elements gave Mani Kohli, the desire to build the brand on most exclusive platform offering nothing but one–off designs for the customer who wants nothing but the best. This also opened doors to endless lines for Celebrities who dawned her collection from Meera Syal, Nina Wadia, Bally Sagoo, Rishi  Rich, Ameet Chana , Mumzy,  Jay Sean , Thara, Home Secrretary Theresa May MP,  Parminder Nagra  (Bend it like Beckham/ER), Baroness Kennedy, Princess Hussa Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Talvin Singh, Mrs. Heini Al Fayed, wife of Mr. Mohamed Al Fayed of Harrods, British artists Liberty X, Mylene Klass, Laila Rouass… Bollywood stars such as Twinkle Khanna,Askhay Kumar, Malaika Arora Khan, Mahima Choudhary . In 2005, a move to the new premises of a spacious couture flagship store put both Khubsoorat and Green Street on the map when His Royal Highness Prince Andrew came to call.
